60 Looks from SHAFIRA for This Eid Mubarak
By Elsa Toar - May 5, 2017
SHAFIRA offers you 60 looks to try on this Eid Mubarak. These 60 looks consist of various options for women, men, and kids. They’re dominated by minimalist embroidery which combines geometrical shapes with dramatic floral accents.
In particular, the menswear collection was designed with some slender geometrical embroidery. This touch creates shapes of firm shoulder and body posture, leaving an impression of strong masculinity.
For the womenswear, SHAFIRA chose an elegant style of syar’i. The elegance is shown through some eclectic shades of lights in the design, with the combination of both bright and dark colors. For some even more elegant and expensive looks, SHAFIRA adds some crystal from Swarovski to the design. This is especially made for a more formal occasion. In part of the syar’i collection, SHAFIRA introduced “Fushion Syar’i Scarf,” which is a veil that can be mix-and-matched into a long or simpler hijab styles.
Despite the elegant impression that SHAFIRA wants to create through the collection, they still managed to keep the essence of modesty of a Muslim wear. SHAFIRA keeps the conventional look of Muslim fashion by using non-see-through, high-quality, light, and soft types of fabric.
In the runway, this collection was presented in a family-like format. The catwalk and display arrangement made it easier for the audience to see how the looks can be suitable for family gatherings during the feast day. With the number of looks as many as 60, it seems that SHAFIRA would like to make sure you don't run out of ideas of what to wear to several different family gatherings this Eid Mubarak.
